Mercy Ajatum

Body Protection | 32° EAST & LUMUMBA AVENUE BUILDING
By Mercy Ajatum
In ‘Body Protection’, Mercy wears her story, adorning herself with objects that symbolise resilience and autonomy. Through dance, she challenges societal norms and invites viewers to reconsider the relationship between body, culture and memory. Does this provoke culture or teach care?
